Could the doctor be way off?

I am pregnant with baby num 2 and I was just wondering something...I missed the same period with this pregnancy as the first....down to the day. When the doctors gave me my due date, its over a month earlier than the first baby's due date. if I missed the same period for both pregnancies, should the due dates be a little closer together?
