How some idiotic McCain backers respond to the phony "lipstick on a pig" controversy!!!?

Because they are trying to distance themselves from Bush. When you have all the same policy issues on the economy, war, health care, education, etc... you need to find something to talk about... if they talk about ANY issue they are in trouble... so we need to talk about anything... this is EXACTLY why they picked Palin... so they could cry ism and not actually talk about anything real. It is not that they are interested in any ones rights, they are interested in keeping the media on ANYTHING other than the issues where Obama will lead and they will be shown for the same as the last eight years.
