Do i really luv him.... cuz Im not even going out with him?

Ok he has been my friend for about 5yrs. I went out with him once I broke up with him cuz I wanted to go out with someone else or so I thought. He got a new gf. They b/up now he's got another, I told him iwant to go out again. He said ok after they r over with. But I always talk bout him and I like talking to him he is the 1st one I go to w/ to ask about my problems. And I think i screwed up with ever b/up w/him. I always think bout him. I get happy when he is around. So do I cuz my sis said it sounds like i do. But luv is a strong word...I've used it before. What do you think..oh I also see my self with him when we're older.
