Since gender is a social construct what is so terrible about having my boys wear dresses to school?

some people seem to have a hard time with the idea that boys need to be liberated from the confines of their macho identities why not have them wear dresses to school and yes some of them are pink so what? there is no inherent reason why pink should be a female color
