I need a good recipe for my bfs bday?

i wnted to go shoping with him for food.. and than we could go to his house and make the food... wanted to make the dessert before, so we could make dinner togther, we dont lke pasta or anyhing that has to much choclate ... i want it fancy not some box mix or plain vanilla cake. i want like really good recicpes :) thx... its gonn be his 21 bddday
