Why is my new sound card acting up?

I just bought and installed a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional, and it works great for everything... Everything but Youtube... For some reason the sound quality is worse than my last card to begin with, and the sound will fade away and come back as the video plays... What could be causing this?
